Baity - Bahrain’s Official Platform for Affordable Housing
Baity is the official government platform that helps Bahraini citizens search for, evaluate, and purchase affordable housing by unifying real estate listings, financial services, and housing programs into a single trusted experience. This project was done in collaboration with Klabs
How it started?
The home-buying journey in Bahrain was fragmented across multiple platforms, agencies, and services. Property discovery, financial eligibility, and housing support were disconnected, making it difficult for users to move confidently from exploration to decision-making.
Bayti was created to centralize this experience under a government-backed platform that citizens could trust.
What we did?
I designed the full UX and initial UI for both the web platform and mobile app, creating a unified experience that supports discovery, comparison, and informed decision-making at scale.
The platform is anchored by an interactive map that allows users to explore properties by governorate, understand availability spatially, and transition seamlessly into detailed listings. Multiple discovery paths — by location, property type, developer, or agency — provide flexibility without overwhelming the user.
Rich property detail pages, immersive virtual tours, master plans, interactive maps, and integrated financial tools such as loan calculators help users evaluate options with clarity and confidence — all within a single, authoritative experience.
My Contribution: Led UX and initial UI design across web and mobile, including interaction models, information architecture, and interactive map concepts.
Collaboration: Delivered in collaboration with Klabs.
