Designing the Foundation for Trusted Learning and Employment Records

Establishing verified, institution-ready formats for sharing credentials at global scale This project introduced a new category of credential sharing within Accredible: Shared Records. It includes Digital Credential Transcripts for academic use and Verified Career Records for employment and professional review. Accredible operates at global scale, supporting 160M+ issued credentials, 30M+ learners, and 2,300+ organizations, where trust, verification, and clarity are critical. The Challenge

Existing sharing methods (links, PDFs, badges) were insufficient for formal verification scenarios.

Universities and employers required official, trusted records that clearly communicated authenticity, endorsements, and academic or professional value—delivered by a credible third party.

The Solution

Shared Records introduced two institution-ready formats sent directly by Accredible:

Digital Credential Transcripts

A formal, recipient-specific transcript supporting verified credentials, endorsements (including ACE credit recommendations), competencies, and academic data—delivered directly from Accredible to institutions.

Verified Career Records

A customizable, verified career document combining credentials, skills, education, and experience into a single, shareable record designed for employers and recruiters.

Both formats position Accredible as the intermediary responsible for verification, delivery, and trust.

Outcome

Established Accredible as the trusted intermediary between learners, institutions, and employers—laying the foundation for Accredible to become the source of truth for learning and employment records.
